Looks like Tim Burton is expanding upon the colorful and surreal Pee Wee's Big Adventure, with a much larger budget, and a more talented and game actor (no disrespect to Paul Reubens).
The snippets of dialogue from Depp's Wonka aren't especially great, but I know he'll deliver a fantastic performace, just as he did in Edward Scissorhands, Ed Wood, and Sleepy Hollow (... and every other film he's starred in).
I think it all looks fucking awesome, except for Depp. Not that he won't act the shit out of it, but I think the design for Wonka is weak, if not crap.
